In august 2017 we wandered around the west part of the USA. These national parks have been on our list for visit for long time, and august 2017 was especially good time for visit as there was a full solar eclipse on august 20. National parks overwhelmed us, much more than we expected, I have to admit. We made 7000 km by car, 110 km on foot and visited 15 national and state parks in 3 weeks. None of the national parks disappointed us, although if I would be force to decide, I would put ZION and Yosemite on the top of the list. But every one of them (Grand canyon, Zion, Monument valley, Bryce canyon, Capitol reef, Arches, Dinosaur, Grand teton, Yellowstone, Yosemite, Sequoia, Golden gate, Kings canyon) was definitely worth the visit.
